I didn’t even know the rainbow was a lesbian symbol. On my phone I made the rainbow the symbol for one of my daughters on the “my favs” and she freaked out and told me to change it lol. I was using it because she is beautiful and are rainbows lol. Now I know what it means and I don’t get it either lol.

don’t worry about it hun. rainbows arent gay, they are just a stereotype. gay people are great and one of my best friends in the whole world is gay and he hates rainbows. so what means straight, leopard print? but seriously, you are not gay, there is nothing wrong with loving rainbows (and the rainbow/gay thing mostly pertains to guys) so chill. gays, straights and bis are great all alike. they dont need stereotypes, because stereotypes affect everyone (as u can now see) and they are just not good.

I love rainbows too, who said they have to be related to gays? they’re simpley the reflection of water through light. It’s a simple physical phenomenon that’s it. Rainbows seem to represent homosexuality, but this is totally untrue. Being interested in rainbows does not have anything to do with your sexuality, no matter what people think – if someone thinks you are gay just for liking rainbows (which are amazing and interesting things) then they are stupid.
Oh, and speaking as a gay person, we did not make the rainbow our “symbol” (not as far as I know lol), people must have just assumed liking rainbows was gay. Me being gay and liking rainbows is pure coincidence, I assure you.
